Starting a local business. My beliefs on it.
My friends and cousins always ask me about starting local businesses. They also ask if I’m interested in becoming silent partner.
I hate local businesses. Why?
I believe that local business can reach only people that are within 25 miles radius of the city.
For instance, Lets say I open a hookah lounge (just because its trending it doesn’t mean it is a good business) In Los Angeles, CA. From where will my customer come? Glendale, Burbank, Pasadena, Tujunga, Santa Monica, Beverly hills, Woodland hills, Hidden hills… you get the point.
Whereas starting a business online… you can reach the other side of the world while you are sleeping at night.
You have a business open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days.
The other day I was reading Wall Street Journal, I saw so many retail stores closing down at a record pace .
